Extremely unprofessional experience. The person who answered the phone sounded like they had just woken up—no greeting, no courtesy. When we politely asked for an estimate, the response was simply, “I’m not going to give you an estimate, it’s $80/hr,” with zero explanation or willingness to engage. If you’re running a business, basic customer service should be a priority. Speaking to potential clients like they’re a bother isn’t the way to build a positive reputation. If picking up pups is such a burden, maybe it’s time to rethink the business model—or at the very least, invest in some customer service training.
