Scoop Soldiers - Denver

In their recent winter waste removal policy email, they state that 'they may not come out to service the yard during snow, but you will be charged anyway (is that legal?) and when they do come after snow they may not get all of the piles so the next cleaning will be thorough so that they can avoid charging extra for more cleanup later on' So basically, they may charge for services not rendered, and then if they don't do a good enough job during the next visit after the one they missed, they may charge you an additional extra fee for their inability to clean everything? due to the day they missed because they canceled? that they already charged you for?? Questionable business practice, and as you can see in previous reviews it has been noted by other people as well.

UPDATED 07/18/2025 As promised I am updating this review after a few months of service and I am please to say this company is amazing!! We have used a couple different services of this type and Scoop Soldiers is by far the best of all. They don't miss a single thing and their employees are always super friendly. We don't have an easy backyard to clean up and I swear they must do gymnastics to get to some of the spots but each week our backyard is completely spotless!! Just started service and so far so good!! I will definitely keep the other reviews in mind when I update this review in a few months. I am an avid reviewer with over 600 reviews and counting. If I have any problems with this service; I'll update otherwise if you dont see an update rest assured they are doing great!!

No stars for this company! I was a new customer, and my services were supposed to start on Monday, 2/24/25. Unfortunately, the technician was sick and left a message saying the service would be rescheduled to Tuesday, 2/25/25. On Tuesday, the technician texted me only 40 minutes before the scheduled time, giving no time to prepare (especially since I needed to secure my dogs, which the company was aware of). We informed the technician that we would be about 5 minutes later than the requested time, and he said he couldn’t service us. Scoops should have ensured that either this technician or another technician could service us. This is how they treat new customers?! Frustrated with this lack of professionalism, I canceled my services and asked them to delete all my personal information. I thought this company was reliable because of its rating, but this experience proved otherwise. The customer service agent I spoke to today was combative and completely disregarded my concerns. STAY AWAY from this company! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Everything started out ok with this company and their techs showing up on time but definitely be aware that once you lock in with your chosen poop scooping schedule, they charge you regardless of holidays or miscommunication regarding your account. If you don’t want them entering your yard while your dogs are out make sure you are able to respond to their text immediately, if you don’t, you will be charged. Very disappointed in the billing experience with this company. We’re very open and understanding people but the policies they have in place are unacceptable.

Things were great to begin with and with a change in techs, the service started to decline. I reached out to customer service for assistance in this matter and Jessica Moore took matters into her own hands and worked to resolved the disconnect. Service has improved since working with Jessica. Thank you again for your help Jessica, you are a rockstar!
